About Aquila Pizzeria
We are an Italian pizzeria based in Lancaster serving freshly made pizzas using the highest quality ingredients imported from Naples. Our pizzas are prepared with care in our Valoriani oven.
We serve a full menu of original Neapolitan pizzas delivered to you at home, in our pizzeria and offer for collection - perfect for a convenient after-work pizza feast with the family.
How It Began
My name is Chris. In 2020 I opened Aquila in Lancaster with the goal of emulating the style of Neapolitan wood fired pizza common in cities like Manchester. Before opening the pizzeria I spent time in Naples to understand the importance of technique, how to produce authentic dough and the ingredients necessary to make real Neapolitan pizza. The core ingredients are imported from Italy to ensure authenticity and quality of flavour whilst the fresh ingredients are mainly supplied from a local supplier.
